Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) through Digital Health Unit, in collaboration with the Centre for Digital Health of the Ministry of Health, LM International, Capgemini Sweden, and other strategic partners, is launching the AI4H (Artificial Intelligence for Health) Training & Buildathon 2026 .
Under the theme " Local AI, Local Solutions, Local Impact, " this programme aims to advance responsible, resilient, and sovereign AI adoption in healthcare and education in Tanzania.
We invite university students, recent graduates, and aspiring health-tech innovators to form cross-disciplinary teams of 4–6 members and participate in a unique learning and innovation journey.
Participants will receive:
- Free online training
- Mentorship from local and international experts
- Hands-on experience building AI solutions for real healthcare challenges
- Opportunities to win prizes and showcase innovations at the 5th Tanzania Digital Health & Innovation Forum in November 2026.
