Women represent most of the health workforce globally, although only 25 % hold leadership positions, limiting potential and stifling innovation (WHO, 2021). A key barrier to women and girls’ digital inclusion is less access than men and boys (#UNICEF, 2021). Roughly 46% of boys use the internet on their phones, compared to just 27 % of girls (Girl Effect & Vodafone Foundation, 2018).

Join us for our upcoming Women/Girls in Health-Tech workshop on 11 November 2024 during the 4th MUHAS Digital Health and Innovation Week in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We are dedicated to shifting this narrative and empowering more women to lead, innovate, and transform the future of health technology.
It’s time for a more inclusive industry where diverse perspectives drive meaningful change.
Join us in this crucial conversation and action!
